This Father's Day, we're inviting fathers, families, coaches, and supporters to invest in the next generation of female athletes.
Every donation to Wildwood Running helps provide life-changing opportunities for girls to learn, grow, connect, and thrive. Your support funds camp scholarships, educational programming, coach development, mental health resources, nutrition education, and experiences that help young women build confidence both on and off the course.
When you give to Wildwood, you're not just supporting a runner. You're helping a young woman discover her voice, find her community, and realize her potential.
The fathers featured on this page have watched Wildwood help their daughters become stronger, more confident, and more resilient. Today, we're asking you to help make that same experience possible for another girl.

Robyn and Marie -
Thank you for creating Wildwood Running. The work you do is transformative - for young women as individuals and I believe for all women who run. And because of you, my daughter is a runner. Her relationship with the sport is more healthy now than ever. And she never went through the trauma that so many young women runners have endured.
Carly has run for a long time, since elementary school. I knew she enjoyed it. What she really liked the most was being with her friends. Honestly, I didn’t care why she ran. I was just happy that she was doing something that she enjoyed and was helping to make her stronger. She benefitted by having a great coach in you Robyn, and a great team around her. As she developed in high school, she became more competitive. At times, this challenged her emotionally. But Coach Robyn was always there to help to get her to the right place.
She has continued to run after high school, and she has brought many of her friends into the sport. They run now more for fun and camaraderie than for competition. Though now and again, she shows some of that competitive spirit. I am sure that her experience with Wildwood is why she is still a runner today. Sadly, I also know this is not the case with many young girls and women. There is a long way to go, but I am confident that change will happen. And if Carly has a daughter who chooses to compete in Track and Field, thanks to Wildwood, she will compete in a far more positive sport environment. This is why supporting Wildwood is so important to me.
Carly has also chosen to support Wildwood, as a camp counselor for the past few years. This has had a noticeable impact on her. She enjoys being a positive role model, a leader and a trusted voice to the many young women athletes who come to the camp not just to run, but to learn about how they can build their own agency in a space where they still need it.
I am proud of Carly for so much in her life. Being a runner for life is not something I have ever, or will ever push on her. But a lifetime of fitness no doubt can add years to your life. All any Dad wants for his daughter is to have a long, healthy and rewarding life. And to maybe hang out with the old man now and again. Wildwood has had a strong effect on Carly’s relationship with running and fitness, and for that, I am forever grateful. It is something we can share, something that brings us together. And what Dad doesn’t appreciate that?
Thanks...cod
