Eric Dettman of Lincoln HS has been with the Lincoln HS program for 11 years, serving as the Head Coach since 2019. During his time there he has helped guide his girls teams to 6 state trophies and his boys team to 3 state trophies. His girls finished 18th at Nationals in 2019 and 11th in 2021 and his boys finished 18th in 2021. In 2022 he helped a boy and girl qualify for NXN individually and in 2023 his girls team won the NXR Northwest Championship to punch their ticket to NXN.
During his time at Lincoln he has made considerable effort in building a program where his successes aren't solely performance based. He makes a considerable effort to create a lifelong love of the sport and build a strong community while also supporting athletes to become the best version of themselves.
He is excited to discuss his relationships with his assistant coaches and enables them to bring their best skillset to the table. Through his presentation he will talk about how he builds those relationships, puts his assistants in positions to be successful, and utilizes those people to help propel his program to higher levels.
