LaReina (Woods) Starr was one of the best all-around athletes in Oregon prep history at Corvallis High School, where she was the State Champion in the 100 and 200 meters four years in row. LaReina held the Oregon 6A state meet record with an 11.90. She was also a first-team all-state athlete in basketball and volleyball. LaReina continued her success in college as a two sport athlete in volleyball and track. She was the Pac 10 champion in the 100 meters and an NCAA Division I All-American in the 1600-meter relay at the University of Oregon.
LaReina received her BA in Sociology from the Oregon and is a licensed massage therapist for Bauman Chiropractic in Vancouver, WA, and a contracted massage Therapist for Dr.Flowers Chiropractor office in Portland, Oregon. She is currently an Assistant JV girls basketball and head JV Sprints and Relay coach at Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon. LaReina and her husband, Ian, are proud parents of Son Silas and daughter Mia.
